Relationship between writing and computers

I believe that computers are a natural evolution tool of writing. Writing began with symbols and evolved into letters which became words. Then stories were told by mouth then later were written down to remember them. If we fast forward to modern times the type writer began as a students tool, but it could not save documents and the correction was some what sloppy. With computers you can save something to your hard drive and you will always know where it is. There is no physical papertrail, only a cyber papertrail. Computers are getting smaller and faster. With the type writer there would be piles of paper. And there were so bulky and clunky. With every country talking about globalization computers can more than bridge that gap along with writing.

So, what you're saying is that the cyber papertrail is more Earth-friendly, right? (kidding)

I think you have made some excellent points in the sense that writing and computers highlight the natural evolution of writing, and it is a more streamlined process. And, in lieu of your globalization comment, I think computers link us up to become better global citizens (like that little kids having a staring contest across the world commercial).

Great thoughts, very intelligent insights - keep it up!
